Yes,I think these are right: there is a difference between essential and non-essential matters. The problem comes when people infer that all non-essential matters are equally unimportant. There is clearly a spectrum of importance among non-essential matters. (Election/free will is somewhat more significant than apple/pc!!)
A bit surprised at the inclusion of election/free will on the "non-core" side of the chart. It might be better placed a little closer to inspiration of scripture.

concur - the sovereignty of God over salvation is core to how one approaches God and how His character is revealed to the world through Christ.
